It’s pretty alarming to find out that 4 out of 5 car seats are NOT installed properly. That means 80% of children are riding in cars unsafely. When Ali Landry and Saarah Samadani learned of this statistic they wanted to change things and so they founded the Red CARpet Safety Awareness Event, which raises awareness for child safety, while also raising money by donations for the non-profit organization Baby2Baby.
The Celebrity Red CARpet Safety event is held at Sony Pictures Studios and offers parents and parents-to-be interactive safety exhibits. There were Car seat safety demonstrations on Diono Pacificas, Radians and Rainiers; Evenflo SafeMax 3-in-1 seats; UPPAbaby Mesa infant seats; Nuna PIPA, RAVA & AACE seats; and Cybex AtonQ Infant Seats as well.
There were also many fun activities for the kids to do too while parents explored the educational exhibits. My girls had so much fun on the extreme coasters. My 4 year old Mia enjoyed the water-play, play-house, and imaginary kitchen, while my 8 year old Madison truly enjoyed the arts and crafts, especially making the flower tiaras and painting a birdhouse. With carnival games, cookie decorating, face painting and so much more, the Celebrity RedCARpet Safety event is fun for the whole family.
