All caring mothers should be proud because motherhood is by far the most wonderful and the most difficult responsibility there is. I am a proud Mama Bear because I feel that raising my children to become good people who can contribute something positive to this world is the most important thing that I will ever achieve in my life. Raising children is absolutely no picnic in the park, and it is a title that changes who you are forever. It’s something that forces you to look outside of yourself and recognize that the world no longer revolves around only you. Now it is my children’s well-being that dictates my happiness, not having the coolest new car or taking the most extravagant vacation. It is my children’s happiness that brings me happiness and when they are sad, I am absolutely sadder. It is knowing that my children are doing well, that they are safe, and that they are content and developing into their full potential, that brings me peace of mind and joy. All of this is what brings me joy in fulfilling the role of the Proud Mama Bear.
As a mom we face daily challenges with our children and with running a smooth and productive household. Us Mama Bears have a lot of hats to wear, as we are truly the CEOs and CFOs of our homes and families. In today’s economy we face the daily realities of living on budgets and doing it successfully by stretching our dollars to give our families all the things they need without breaking the bank. That’s why when we are able to bring high quality products like Charmin into our home and do it at a good price, it brings values into our lives that makes being a Proud Mama Bear a little bit more easier to do.
This year Charmin was proud to play a fun and interactive part at Hispanicize, the nation’s largest gathering of Latina mommy bloggers. Charmin kicked off its salute to Latina Mama Bears with help of Latina celebrity mom Giselle Blondet, proud Mama Bear to three kids of her own. Giselle was at the Charmin booth on Thursday, April 11 to greet fellow Mama Bears (mommy bloggers) and celebrate their achievements, goals, challenges in balancing both their family lives with their business lives as bloggers. They even had a bathroom takeover so that everyone could experience what it is to “Enjoy the Go” without spending a bundle.
Now Charmin wants to celebrate the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday (May 10th in Mexico, May 12th in the U.S.), with all of you by praising the wisdom of Latina Mama Bears that keeps the family moving forward. Therefore Latina mamas, we invite you from April 11th to June 30th, to leave a 15-second voice recording on Facebook about what makes you proud to be a Mama Bear.
