It’s rare that I am able to get out on an audition. Therefore, you can imagine that when I went to a Musical Theatre audition yesterday for a cabaret show called, ‘Broadway at The W,’ how disappointed I was to drive all the way down there only to find out that I had the wrong information. When I got there, they were auditioning the dancers, not the singers, and there was nobody available to tell me what time the singers were going to be auditioning. I was under the impression from the casting post that it was an open call audition, however, now I’m not really sure. It doesn’t really matter now anyway because I never found out the needed information and so I missed the audition.

Anyhow, I came home and decided to let you all have a glimpse at my audition that never happened. I was going to sing, ‘The Movie In My Mind,’ from Miss Saigon. Now I am singing it to you live from my husband’s man cave (a.k.a. his office/workout room). Yes I recorded it directly on my lap top and I had some difficulty hearing the music too, but overall it gives you some insight into my missed audition.
