]]> Katy Perry debuted a sassy break-up song, “Part of Me” at The Grammy Awards, which was clearly a message to her ex-husband Russell Brand.  With lyrics like “Look at me/ I’m sparkling/ You will never put me out again/ So you can keep the diamond ring/ It don’t mean nothing anyway.”  I think it’s safe to say that Perry has returned with empowerment, which will surely help to heal her broken heart due to the ending of her marriage.

Katy Perry was up for two Grammy Awards, including Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year for “Firework.”  Her new song “Part of Me” drops on February 21st and is the lead single off of Perry’s forthcoming Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, which will be released on March 27th.
