Yes my husband read the article and yes he was annoyed, but got over it pretty quickly and we had a nice Sunday together as a family and we are not heading for divorce over who gives our daughter a bath-LOL! My husband’s a great sport and he knows I adore him and that I think he’s the best husband and dad to our daughter ever. Madison, our daughter also adores him and actually he’s very helpful with her and a very hands-on-dad, like I said in my original article about him. He’s great with cooking for her, actually he cooks for all of us, and when she was a baby he used to change her diapers, help feed her, and he helped with potty training too. He watches her, plays with her, and takes her out all the time. In his defense he doesn’t like to dress her because he says I don’t like the clothes he picks out for her…Go Figure. So I think his excuses I listed in the article are just ways of him avoiding having to do this because I’m so picky about her outfits. I would also never expect my husband to brush and style our daughter’s hair, it’s difficult enough on me and I know how to style long hair (being a woman and all). The bath thing is really my only gripe, but hey the poor guy just renovated our entire house practically on his own, I can’t have everything. 🙂 All is well and I wouldn’t and I couldn’t ask for a better man as my husband and as the father of our child. Thank you Mark for allowing me to express my feelings as a writer and for not censoring me, you’re the best and I love you! So case closed everyone, until death do us part. 🙂
